Affordable Rates

Could I pay myself and get a lower rate?

Yes, Because we have a strong desire to maintain low cost with the smaller building size, our billing is handled off-site, and our self-pay rates are actually the lowest in the state at $75. We take pride and work hard to make access to this level of 24-hour services that is still affordable. In fact, no one else in the state of Tennessee is presently offering this level of care. In the event an insurance company refuses to pay, a patient's bill should be adjusted to the "self-pay scale". Nearer the $75. We have individuals that can walk you through the process to make sure you receive the best results possible. All of our basic rates are listed in guides located in the patient rooms for you to review and ask questions about. Payment using the lower, self-pay fee scale is expected at the time of service. There are some additional Urgent care fees that are charged to insurance claims because some of them see the value in providing these services in order to avoid unnecessary emergency room visits. Having been open nearly a year now, most of our startup billing issues have now been resolved. We have new protocols in place to assist those with poor or no insurance. And we will even be able to provide after-hour treatment for some cancer patients who cannot afford by partnering with other local charities. Call 815-986-1636 Mon-Friday for any billing questions. Then contact us at 444-2121, and leave us a message if our billing department is not able to satisfactorily resolve any issues.

My bill to insurance seems high to me, is it accurate?

Yes, Most insurance companies have negotiated steep discounts, and some pay less than 25% of actual charges. For instance a $400 bill may only be reimbursed at $65 which is way less than our actual cost of the services provided. We are willing to do this because of our dedication to our community and some insurances do reimburse better. You will never be expected to pay more than our adjusted self-pay fee sale if your insurance company refuses to pay for the care you receive. Our team is glad to help you work through any billing issues that you have with your insurance company. Call 815-986-1636 Mon-Friday for any billing questions.
